General Discussion / Bindings.

You know, I am glad that I opened up like I did, because I was only holding myself back, by holding back certain things--I was only chaining myself. Now that I've removed those bounds, I may no longer go back, but thus far, nothing bad has happened, so I doubt anything will anytime soon as a result of my doing so.

I don't get why I was afraid, I know my reason, but it seems silly, looking back. Perhaps it was a way of coping... perhaps I just wasn't ready to face certain things, and certain possibilites. There was a certain simplicity to it, but it was a misjudged one at that.

I know not whether this is merely coincidence, but it would seem to me that somehow or another, Tslat always knows just the right thing to say at any given time.
I would like to take a moment to thank Tslat, for all he has done for this community, and whether knowingly or not, for myself personally, as well.

*bows* Thank you, Tslat.

I kinda don't like how the game seems to be all about pushing the climate-change agenda.
It makes it out like it's in our hands to do anything about it.

Sure, we can recycle and avoid excessive packaging and stuff, but at the end of the day the stuff that really needs to happen is controlled by big corporations and politicians. Controlled by money.

The game itself looks alright, but based on its description and reviews, it feels like it's pushing the climate-change thing too much for me
I definitely agree about it pushing the climate change stuff too hard, but if not for that--and of course I'd want to wait 'til the price dropped, but--I would consider getting it at some point, again, if not for the climate change malarkey being pushed as it is.

Looks pretty cool. I just think $40 is a bit steep for an alpha title.

A game in currently in alpha, but nonetheless a game which I think seems rather nifty.

Just watched a video of it, uploaded 16-17 hours ago by Youtuber paulsoaresjr, and the idea came to me that perhaps Eco might be a game which may be worth looking into in the future. ;)

Since I came here to mention the game to you first, I have not yet taken the opportunity to look into the game further, via its website (http://www.strangeloopgames.com/eco).

I always have spotify or pandora playing when Im online so I am always discovering new music and I like it that way. I have a hard time listen to the same artist for more than a few tracks. If I'm going on a road trip and will not have decent mobile data signal I'll burn a CD with some "old Faithful" tracks and Yonder Mountain String Band and Atmosphere are my two all time favs.

What are some of your favorite songs? Maybe just songs you kind-of like?

What kinds of music do you like?
If you can't put it to words, then could you perhaps give examples?

Myself, I could give plenty, but all of my saved links are saved to my phone, which I still am unable to access, and it'd be a chore to collect them the way I may now. However, I did manage to find one:

I HAVE to use Discord for my EVE alliance so Discord runs on boot and is always open on my gaming machine.
BUT Im old and stuck in my ways. I personally will continue to use TS for my daily Voip needs.
Our TS sever has had 100 unique connections in the last week and we have come within 2 slots of maxing out on TS three times in the last month so TS is far from dead.
That being said.. use Discord, invite more people to use it! If more people use Discord we will not have to pay for more slots on TS.

It's not the methods that are an issue - it's the willingness of the people to move.
We've been running Claytonia for a while, we're aware of how to do these things - it's just whether to do it or not in the first place is the question.

Again, Clay handles all that, and it'll always be his decision to make any changes.
In the meantime, Claytonia's Discord is still there and useable, so feel free to invite people to that rather than Teamspeak if you want to the catalyst for change
